Maria Priz

Hello Maria, could you take some time to participate in our IFL MCU alumni survey?

- Of course, I'm glad to participate!
1.  Do you work within your specialty ?

Not at the moment. I am on maternity leave and am studying to become a human resources manager. After graduating from university, I did not work as a language teacher.

2. Could you tell me how long it took you to find a job? Was it easy? You managed to realize your career plans?

In some sense, I can say that I succeeded. After graduation, I planned to work as an interpreter or in service work, and chose the last thing. The problem was that many employers refused due to lack of experience.

3. Why did you choose MCU IFL for studying?

First of all, it is an opportunity to study foreign languages. I also liked the atmosphere when submitting documents and the transport accessibility of the university.

4. In your opinion, what qualities should a future graduate have in order to get a job in their specialty?

For the specialty of a teacher - a sufficient level of knowledge of the language, love for children, the ability to build communication, optimism, perseverance.

5. What part of the university curriculum helped you to adapt most of all in your professional activity?

Most likely, practice in schools and the university, which was included in the program.

6. Have you ever wanted to take part in an internship?
There was a desire, of course, but for me it wasn’t possible to implement.

7. What wishes would you express to your university?

I would like to wish promising students, all the best to the teachers (especially Anna Vasilievna and Svetlana Vladislavovna, we went to their lessons with special pleasure) and more chairs in the dining room, they were always in short supply.
