Good afternoon, Ksenia! Would you like to participate (to take part) in a short interview and tell us about your experience of studying at the Institute of Foreign Languages of Moscow City Teachers' Training University?
- Hello, I will be happy to answer all your questions!
1. Do you work in your specialty? Do you teach French or the second foreign language that you chose at the university?
- I started tutoring in English in the 3rd year. I also tried to find an opportunity to teach French, but in my area there isn't a second language in schools, so only English remained, which I still teach.
2. How long did it take you to find a job? Was it easy to find a job?
- In addition to tutoring, she worked in additional education for younger students in two educational institutions. But then I had two maternity leaves and I had to leave only tutoring.
3. Are you currently engaged in scientific activities? Are you continuing your studies at the moment (master's/ magistracy, postgraduate)?
Not doing
4. What were your plans for your career when you graduated, and did they coincide with reality ?
- Honestly, I didn't think about going to school, there's a lot of paperwork (in additional education, they didn't require so much reporting, and even more so in tutoring)
5. Why did you decide to enter Moscow City Teachers’ Training language University in particular ?
- I am completely satisfied with my education, excellent and understanding teachers, only a good impression remains!
6. In your opinion, what qualities should a student (future graduate) have in order to get a job within the specialty ?
- (Bad people don't go to work as teachers) A teacher should a priori love and understand children, even if he is a first-class translator, but without love for children, he has nothing to do at school.
7. What do you think has helped you the most from the university’s curriculum in adapting to professional life?
- From the disciplines: psychology, methodology and practice of speech; and the examples of teachers helped more, how they themselves presented us with information and never refused to help
8. Have you ever wanted to take part in an internship ? Maybe you have managed to get it ? Tell us briefly about the countries you have visited and the experiences you have gained.
I didn't have the opportunity to take part in an internship. Because of my family and my children
9.What would you wish for your university ?
Stay the same, worthy and loving your job! There were only pluses in everything, I don’t even remember the minuses.
