Chumakova Polina Andreevna

“The hardest thing to do is to motivate students”.

-Good day, Polina! Could you spare a couple of minutes and answer a couple of questions regarding your study in MCU?

-Sure, but only a couple, I’m in a hurry.

1. Do you work as a teacher?

Yes, I am a career guidance teacher in high school.

2. Why didn't you start teaching French?

- It just didn't work out: after graduation, I immediately went to work in a gaming education, to the place where I had an internship during the 3rd year, and the knowledge of the language remained at the hobby level.

3. What difficulties have you faced while working?

- The main difficulty is to motivate students, since in adolescence they often hear about choosing a profession. They get bored of it, they already perceive all your lectures as white noise. Plus, my course is optional, that is, grades are not given, therefore, the element of control slips away.

Now the online format is even more difficult, because it is difficult to get emotional commitment.
